“When Brother Anthony came to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Fort Collins, Sheri and I were moved to buy Road to Rome tickets simply as a donation to the Capuchin Brothers and never thought about the tickets again. We were stunned when we won the grand prize. My sister Mary lost her life in a tragic accident on November 25, 2017. Her loss has been very difficult for the family. Mary and her husband Dan were making plans to take their oldest son Philip and his wife Rachel to Rome in the fall of 2018, with Mary’s passing the trip was not going to happen. We are using this incredible surprise and gift to take Dan, Philip and Rachel to Rome with us. We know that we won this trip by the grace of God and that Mary will be with us as we travel.” William Welch

“After meeting Father Mike Scully many years ago we began learning more about the Capuchin Franciscans and the ministry they profess. We are grateful for the work they do and thoroughly enjoy lending our support through the annual Brown Robe Benefit and the Road to Rome Raffle. This year’s Benefit entitled “Daring Adventure” led to our own upcoming adventure when we won the Early Bird prize drawing to Hilton Head lsland, SC.
