Anna Vann, Grand Prize Winner! Denver, CO
“I am so blessed! I’m blessed that my dear friend Gina, back in 2016, asked for my help with travel plans for a group traveling to Papua New Guinea with the Capuchins.
Since then, I’ve been blessed to get to know some wonderful men and praise them for ALL that they do for our community! And I’ve been blessed to be able to volunteer to help the Capuchins with their annual raffle prize planning, putting trips together to destinations all over the world. I’ve been a travel agent for 44 years this month, I can’t believe it!
I was not able to attend the Brown Robe Benefit in October, unfortunately. Prior to the event as usual, I purchased my annual raffle tickets. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought I would win the Grand Prize! The call from Br. Mark that night was a huge surprise! I’m supposed to help plan the trips, not win them!
Thank you again Br. Mark and Capuchins for all that you do for our community. I am truly blessed to be a part of your family.” — Anna
Theresa Llorente, 5-Pack Mult Ticket Prize Winner, Greenwood Village, CO
“I am so grateful to have won the trip to Iceland! Iceland has long been on my bucket list. But more importantly, I am so grateful for the work the Capuchin Friars give to our community and to those communities around the country.
My family has experienced the loving and healing spiritual care that has been given to my parents by Father James Stump, a Capuchin Friar from the San Francisco Bay area. It is because of Fr. James Stump that I participated in the Road to Roam raffle many years ago and continue to each year. Thank you again for choosing my ticket!” – Theresa

TWO-TIME WINNER! Karen Scacco, 3-Pack Multi Ticket Prize, Aurora, CO
“I feel so blessed to have won the trip to Boston and to be a two-time winner of the Road to Roam Raffle! God has given me so much, and supporting the Capuchins in this raffle is one small way that I can give back.
Thank you to the Capuchin Franciscans for the trip to Boston!” – Karen

THREE-TIME WINNER! Lloyd Roatch, November Early Bird Prize Winner, Olathe, KS
“I was shocked when I received a call from Brother Mark that I had won the Glamping prize. Our motives for buying raffle tickets are to support the work of the Capuchins. We don’t expect to win. That said, Glamping is something that we probably would never have done on our own. But now, the more we think about it and after checking out the Glamping site, the more appealing it sounds. And besides, we love Mt. Rushmore!
We have been friends with the Caps since we first met them in Shawnee Kansas back in 1972. They started a new parish here, Good Shepherd, and soon we built our first church. When the Caps moved their provincial office to Denver, they moved into the convent and right next to the high school, Mt. Carmel, where I attended and graduated. We love the Capuchins and their humble, prayerful, loving outreach. We view them as a very important part of our family.”

TWO-TIME WINNER! Steven Cox, October Early Bird Prize, Evergreen, CO
“For starters, we had a Brother who visited the Church to promote the Road to Rome Raffle in 2014. This is when we decided to purchase tickets not expecting to win but at least contribute to the good work they do. Fast forward to 2022, and we purchased tickets again agrer receiving an email invitation.
Winning the trip to Hawaii has been wondeful in two ways. This might be our last family trip as the kids are moving on to college. Hawaii was also where I was stationed for the Navy.
Thank you to the donors and Capuchins for making this possible!” – Steven
